The Inca Trail has been on my bucket list for so many years. There were so many moments throughout the trek that I wanted to cry not only from Happiness but from a sense of accomplishment!! 2 of the best moments for me personally was 1) hitting the top of Dead Women's Pass 2) those final steps then reaching the Sun Gate and getting your first glimpse of Machu Picchu. I've never been so choked up in my life like I did when I reached the sun gate.
Watching the sunrise over Machu Picchu after a intense 4 day trek.... Words cannot express the emotions! Never in my life have a felt so proud of myself, never in my life have I ever seen something so Beautiful, never in my life have I ever been more in touch with myself and Mother Nature!
THANK YOU MARCO AND Inca Trail Reservations FOR THE TRIP OF A LIFETIME!! Marco was the Best guide I have Ever had! He taught us all about the Incan culture, showed us various plant life and had a great sense of humor!
I look forward to coming back to Peru and doing more treks.
