The itinerary was great, first day was light. It was like a warm up for the next two-day harder hikes. The second and third days were a lot harder, numbers of stairs wear you up fairly easily. The fourth day starts very early, with all other hikers walking to Machu Picchu. It was light walk, the weather was not so pleasing in the morning, but the fog clears up around 11 am.
The company provide you tents, refreshments and delicious meals. The porters and cook were helpful. The tour guide Raul was knowledgeable and organized, kept the group entertained. Definitely recommended.
