I really enjoy the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu , The trek covers a great range of different landscape seting starting with the climbing of the Salkantay pass . The journey then continious trough the Peruvian jungle and hot springs and finally a short walk on the railroad tracks to Aguas calientes. We were a group of people coming from all over the works and i really enjoyed the company . The tour guides Carlos and Marcos were very open , fun and also told us interesting background stories of the places . We also had a good time playing football , trying out the stackline or playing cards in the evening ( We brought the toys ourselves). I recommend the trek Salkantay to everybody !!! .
