Chat on WhatsAppMy Machu Picchu trek was even greater than I expected it to be! Our guides, Marco and Carlos, were very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. I was also very lucky to have a great group (family) of other travelers along for the journey. The 4 day hike was not without it's challenges but everyone was very supportive of one another.
It was really interesting to see all the Inca Ruins along the way and our guides were great at explaining their significance in respect to Machu Piccu and the Inca Trail.
It would be hard to write about an Inca Trail experience without mentioning the porters. It is unbeliveable how much they are able to carry and beat you to camp. By the time you get there your after trek snacks are almost ready and your tent is all ready to go . They even wake you up every morning with coca tea!
All in all, it was a fantastic experience. I would definitely reccomend Inca Trail Reservations .
