Chat on WhatsAppAfter deciding to hike the Inca Trail, I knew that I would have plenty of questions. Luckily, Fanny was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions before my trip. She coordinated all aspects of my itinerary from the second I stepped off the plane in Cusco.
During an orientation led by our guide Raul, we were filled in on any remaining details and the next day we were off on what was the greatest four day adventure that I could have hoped for. I did not expect to receive so much useful information while on the trail, but Raul was always giving us the history of locations as we walked past the sites. His English was easy to understand and he always added a flare of humor where possible.
In addition to all of the extensive history we learned, the views and scenery were absolutely gorgeous. They are the single greatest part of the trip and so difficult to capture completely with a camera. The second greatest part of the trek was the food while on the trip, the chef and porters did a terrific job of taking us out of the wilderness and giving us a taste of Peru as we laughed and enjoyed the company of our fellow trekkers.
I would especially like to thank Raul for giving a helpful hand to everyone in our group when needed. If any problems arised, he was there to help make things better. Thank you Inca Trail Reservations for the trip of a lifetime!!
