Hard but fun trip

The trek to Machu Picchu with Inca Trail Reservations and our guide Americo was absolutely amazing, although the second day was really hard.

Everything was perfectly organized; the briefing in Cuzco, the transportation, the packing and carrying of the stuff and especially the food was extremely good. We got fed practically all the time with tea, coffee, juice, snacks, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even a cake on our last night.

Out guide knew everything about the local flora and fauna and always knew how to cheer us up, in 13,776 feet above sea level or during the happy hour in the evening.
