Awesome trail into the wild mountains surrounding Machu Pichu. Very hard work hiking which had a reward with amazing food afterwards.
Córn soups, lisas, eggplant milanesas, mashed potatoes, yuca, mazamorra, vegetables, oat meal, banana panqueques, corn, french frÃes and many more goodies.Loved the guide José with whom I talked a lot during trail and shared the adventure, he was always encouraging and kept me going even after 3 rainy days. After the second night you become one with the nature.
Only bad thing was the númerous amount of people who are visiting Machu Pichu and disturb you in the relaxed vibe you bring from the mountain.
