Hiking the Inca Trail was hands down one of the best decisions I have ever made. The satisfaction of making it through dead woman's pass to the view of machu picchu on the fourth day was incredible.
Our guide, Paul, was incredibly knowledgeable, and taught us about the local beliefs and history. The porters were great, and the food was delicious. Paul made sure that everyone was able to complete even the hardest parts of the trail, telling extra stories to get us through.
Nothing else i have ever experienced compares with this trip, and I would recommend hiking the Inca Trail to anyone on the fence about it. It's tough, but worth.
