So I spent 4 days running up mountains to see Machu Picchu and boy was it ever worth it.
Our guides and porters and cooks turned the whole thing into an experience to remember, as there was no better feeling than arriving bone tired in camp after battling altitude and treacherous paths and angry llamas to find dinner ready and tents set up. What a fantastic experience.
It is so hard but so worth it, especially seeing your objective at the end. If you don't, you won't get the t-shirt and then how will you look?. Remember, travel is the only thing that costs you money but makes you richer.
