Chat on WhatsAppI came to this trek without any idea of what it would entail. In general I feel pretty in shape and active so I didn't feel too worried. Upon getting picked up on Tuesday for our trip we were greeted by our guide who was very friendly. He explained everything in detail and we were on our way.
We started the trail later that day, and upon meeting the rest of the people on journey, we immediately started to feel a sense of family. The next four days we did everything together and rejoiced and struggled together through the tough parts. It was an incredible journey that I will never forget. Upon reaching Machu Picchu we understood what this magical and mystical journey was all about. We will definitely keep in touch with all the wonderful people we met.
