Chat on WhatsAppWe walked the Inca Trail January 2014. The experience surpassed our expectations. The guides were so patient and kind when we needed breaks and provided us with all the kindness and encouragement needed to finish the hike. The second day was especially difficult but when we arrived to camp after a long day of hiking we were greeted with smiles and cheers from our porters. The Inca Trail Reservations group did everything they could to make the trail as comfortable as possible.
We were not expecting such service as we received. The porters were the most amazing group of people I have ever met. They encouraged us along the trail, ran ahead and made sure that tents were all set up for us when we arrived and prepared meals were amazing and filling. While providing such service there was not a single moment they did not have a smile and encouraging words.
Most importantly our guide Martin was so knowledgeable about the trail and the history of the Incas he made the trip even more enjoyable. I would request him as a guide when I return to Peru!
