The site was very helpful telling us all the information that we needed; prices, the itinerary, what to pack and pictures. It was also the most suitable price for us as backpackers. We both really enjoyed the trek, we had a very good group who all got on well and the experience was made even better by our tour guides Jose and Hans.
They were very friendly and helpful, staying with people who were ill and needed more assistance, informing us on the wildlife and nature along the way, and also the various ruins that we saw. They were always there if we needed anything, spare kit, water or just someone to provide information, they are clearly passionate about their job as well which is what all tourists want in their guide! The porters were also brilliant, we were all amazed at the speed in which they walked and how much they carried, the campsite was always set up before we arrived, the kitchen tent always a great place to socialize with the group and porters and the food was incredible!
After a hard days walk a good plate of food was what everyone wanted, and we got just that. The trek itself was beautiful, definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity, watching the sunrise at Machu Pichu on the last day mad all the hard work worth it. I am very happy with how it went and how Inca Trail Reservations organized it all, from the information and communication via email, guides, porters, food, and the transport on the last day! I would definitely recommend it to a friend who was looking to do the Inca Trail .
