There were lovely ruins that day, which helped set the scene for everything. On the second day I became sick from the altitude and the staff was absolutely incredible. They found me a porter and went above and beyond to ensure that I was ok.
That day was a challenge but definitely worth it. The feeling of accomplishment was amazing. The next day we saw many ruins, which set the scene for our final day at Macchu Picchu! This was a highlight.
Overall I could not believe how good the food was and how kind everyone was! Our thousands of steps would not have been possible without them !!.
