For someone who doesn't have experience in hiking, it was quite challenging. The second day required a lot of determination and chocolate, but the view was definitely worth it.
We had a lot of fun bonding with other people in the group, and Wilbert and Jimmy were so knowledgable and kind, the porters, chefs and everyone in the crew were amazing. We learned so much about the Inca culture and the community.
Compare to the ease of taking a train to Machu Picchu, doing the Inca Trail is a better way to learn about the culture and history , I definitely recommend it!!.
