Chat on WhatsAppFirst of all, an amazing experience! Machu Picchu was even more breathtaking than anticipated. The Inca Trail was also breathtaking, but in a very different way... The OMG this is brutal, can't breath, exhaustion kind of way. But I did it and thanks to our guide and the amazing porters, so did everyone else. I couldn't be happier.
Inca Trail Reservations picked us up from the airport, took us from our hotel to the start of the tour and provided everything we needed along the way, including tents, sleeping pads and ridiculous 5 course meals prepared by our head porter who was also a professional chef! The dude baked us a cake for our very last night (how along the trail, I have no idea).
The experience was truly once in a lifetime, but if I had to recommend it to anyone else, I absolutely would.
