My wife and myself came to Peru for our honey moon and we wanted to visit Machu Pichu with a challenging trek before it and picked the Salkantay after lots of research. We have loved the trek from start to finish and are really excited to visit machu Pichu tomorrow. The altitude was a challenge to over come but the views from the top were amazing. Our guide, Ruben was very well informed with excellent English. The cooks produced some wonderful food and we were very great full for our horsemen to carry our bags for us. All in all Salkantay is amazing!!!
