The only thing that could've made it better - and did - was the quality of our lead guide, Carlos Perez and his assistant guide, Marco Misme. Carlos' profound knowledge of the geography, history, flora, fauna and deep spirituality of the trek enriched and deepened the experience exponentially. Marco's knowledge and fiercely capable personality made him an essential part of the experience too.
These two men, through humor, know-how and deep humanity made the trek to the ancient, holy site of Machu Picchu, a trip of a lifetime. Machu Picchu? Bucket-List? Check. Muchas gracias amigos!
