Our tour guide Marco was kind, informative, and has a great love of his culture. We were fortunate enough to have him share his knowledge and love with us. I walked away knowing more than I ever expected to know about the Inca Trail, Machu Picchu and the history of both. During the day, we were served incredible meals, breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea, and snacks prepared by our Chasquis. The were undoubtedly the best meals we had in Peru!!! And at the end of every day, we arrived at our campsites to have everything prepared and ready for us, without this, and I mean this, we could not have been able to complete this journey.
The hard work of our guide and the Chasquis, shows their pride in their work and their culture! When you witness it in person you will understand what I mean. It moved me beyond words! I am leaving a better person for having been able to witness their commitment and love for their work and again their culture!!!.
I highly recommend this to anyone...it will change the way you view the world! I wish I could thank them all personally again...I will never forget!.
