I had no idea what to expect when we walked into the Inca Trail Reservations office for our briefing, but as soon as we were ushered into the room by an enthusiastic Cesar I felt immediately assured that the trek was going to be an unforgettable experience.

I was so thankful that we had a small group- just four people plus Cesar- so we have all become pretty close and have provided each other with encouragement throughout the trip.

This is such an important milestone for me and has truly inspired me to continue pursuing and exploring other treks throughout the world.
