Loco Salkantay

It was a great trek with awesome and diverse landscapes. Our guide Carlos is crazy but in a positive way. He made it a nice five days and so did the cook and the mule driver. We were very lucky with the weather, although of course it has been very cold the first two days. Harto frio en la noche !

It was very nice to meet the other groups in the evening for a beer and some conversation. And during the walks it was nice that there were only a few groups and the trek wasn't overcrowded. Altogether it was great fun !
