The company organized all the flights, pickups, and hotels in the country to make it a stress free trip. The guide very knowledgeable of the area and the food was excellent. Some of my favorite memories were the offerings of safe passage to Pachamama at the top of the Salkantay pass while listening to the avalanches in the distance. I also loved walking through the little towns along the trail and seeing how the locals live. I managed to pull a passion fruit from the tree with my trekking pole and ate it along the trail. Let's not forget the magical Machu Picchu experience.
I would highly recommend this company to my friends who wish to visit Peru and do the Salkantay trek.

The staff from Salkantay.Org has been very helpful since the early planning stages. Answering all our questions and arranging everything from transfers to hotels.
The 5 day / 4 night trek was challenging at times but finishing each day was a small victory. The biggest victory was day 5 when we reached Machu Picchu.
The porters became like family. Tents were set up when we arrived at camp, snacks through-out the day, and large feasts for lunch and dinner.
I had an incredible time, made 7 new friends and had the time of my life.
