The food was rather delicious the entire time and had quite a large variety and quantity, both for which I was very grateful.
Our guide, Marco, simultaneously taught us about the Tawaintisuyu people and helped us during our somewhat arduous trek. Though it was difficult at times, the hike was fun and I cannot wait to see Machu Picchu, the culminating location of our adventure tomorrow.
Every effort was made to keep us comfortable regardless of the harsh terrain and difficult circumstances that camping in the mountains presents. I am thankful and appreciative for the effort and professional nature of our guide and other staff. Also, we learned some Quechua!.
Overall, I had fun and would recommend this journey to those who enjoy both camping and a good challenge.
