Myself and 3 mates set off on the 4 day Machu Picchu trek seeking adventure and challenge.

The high altitude and steep incline/declines meant Machu Picchu was one of the hardest challenges I have ever attempted. There were times when i thought i wouldnt make it but Morale was boosted with each little milestone being achieved i.e. The highest summit on Dead Woman's Pass. My exhaustion disappeared on the 4th day once we made the famous early morning trek on the 4th day to the Machu Picchu site.

The continual support of the porters, chefs and guides made this once in a lifetime experience one that was thoroughly enjoyable.
