Chat on WhatsAppHow did I come up with that awesome title? It's because we did the trek in the month of March and we "marched" to Machu Picchu ;). But all corny jokes aside, this was the most amazing international adventure I've ever had.
I thought seeing Machu Picchu would be the highlight of the four-day Inca Trail trek but it was actually all of the moments in between getting there that made it so memorable. It was all of the beautiful views, cheering on our Herculean porters, learning from our knowledgeable guides, eating amazing Peruvian food served to us each day, and above all else the interaction and relationships built among everyone in our hiking group. Seriously, everyone was so fun and had a unique personality and story from the trip. Each of them are now forever ingrained into my memory and my heart. Thank you everyone for such an amazing time.
I can probably write a post adressed to each member of our group but that would take too long and my lunch is getting cold. I hope anyone taking on this adventure will remember it's The journey and The relationships you build along the adventure that will make this Inca Trail trek unforgettable! Also, I truly hope everyone listens to me about the benefits of a cold shower and make a change in their life!
