Meeting at the other side of the world

The 5 day Salkantay trip was one of the most impressive tours during my 6 months traveling trough South America. My friend from Germany and I said we want to do a hike to Machu Picchu so we checked the available options in the Internet and the good recommendations are true. The well organised trip and the good equipment helped a lot to win the challenge against the over 4600 m high mountain. The luggage is carried all the time by horses, so you don’t have to worry about it. The food is amazing and a very well introduction into the Peruvian kitchen. Our guide was all the time available.
