I could not have asked for a better experience, thanks to Inca Trail Reservations . From the booking to the end of the trip the communication and service was excellent. I did not expect the quality of food for four days away from it all. The porters who carry everything but your personal items are super human and getting to know them was a privilege.
Our guide Raúl provided great history and a unique perspective that offset the traditional history with knowledge of local cultures. We saw many amazing Inca sites and gained greater appreciation for the Inca culture.
I would recommend Inca Trail Reservations and recommend that you make the time for the 4 day hike if you are planning to visit Machu Picchu.
