Our guides were fabulous -- Gerson was a lot of fun and so knowledgeable about the trail and the sites along the way. Gido and Marco Antonio were always there to help, and made sure that no one was ever left behind on the trail. Any time I needed anything, they were quick to help in every way possible.
Meals were excellent -- tons of traditional Peruvian dishes to fuel the sometimes grueling journey, and meals were a great opportunity to get to know the other hikers in our group. We became a family over those four days, and a lot of that was because we were enjoying ourselves so much thanks to the care that our guides put into our experience. My only suggestion would be to make things a bit clearer if you hire an extra porter -- when to expect an extra bag to put your things in, etc. Also, the tents we slept in usually had an issue or two -- broken zippers, etc. Other than that, there is absolutely nothing I would change about my experience! Highly recommend this tour and company. Maybe I´ll come back and do it again someday!
