Right from the start, the staff was attentive to all our needs and requests. Also they made sure to qualm any fears :). The company took care of all our needs in order to get us on the trail. Once on the trail, our guide Marco was so informative about rules and expectations. We immediately felt safe and positive about what was to come. During the trek, Marco was always there to answer questions as well as provide details and lessons about the inca civilization. Once we got to camp, our porters were absolutely amazing.
Our tents were already set up! The food on this trek was absolutely delicious and plentiful, thanks to our awesome chef Veltran! The trek itself was tiring but the perfect amount of difficulty for the average person. The people I met on this trip quickly became friends. Marco was so knowledgeable and passionate about the incas and their culture & history.
I felt completely submerged into the beautiful journey very quickly. I cannot wait to connect with them again in the future. The prize at the end of the trek (Machu Picchu) was totally breathtaking. Im so happy I chose the inca trail trek, I never for a second regretted that decision.
