I had a wonderful experience on the Salkantay trek. Each day was a different adventure. The trek was challenging at times but the views at the end paid off. The snow covered Salkantay mountain and the lush vegetación in the south were just a few of the amazing things we saw. Our guide was the best. He shared so much about the Peruvian culture and made it fun the whole way. The chefs did a wonderful job as well, every meal was so yummy. I would recommend this trek to anyone who is looking to visit Peru. It was so much more than just seeing Machu Picchu. I want to do it all over again.
