My week with Carlos and the Mountains

This was my first big hike going in, I was pretty worried about whether I could make it. The second day of the walk was one of the most challenging I've had, but with a great group of people and our guide Carlos I made it though and look back as one of the best of my trip.

The views were absolutely amazing, and has sparked an interest in hiking for myself. Although the food wasn't the best it got the job done and I always had enough to eat and the energy to keep going when Carlos, my new favorite person was motivating us.

I have never met a more happy and enthusiastic man and I only wished I could have hung out with him some more back in Cusco. If you're gonna do this trek, ask for Carlos as a guide!!
