The quality of food produced under restricted circumstances amazed us all and I am full of admiration for the hard-working porters who kept in the background but always worked professionally and with courtesy. The guides were magnificent throughout and demonstrated an amazing knowledge of Inca culture and the paths that led us to them.
I would definitely recommend this trip to friends. It's the only way to arrive. Even rain couldn't dampen our spirits. The Inca sites we visited were fascinating.
