We took the 4 day Salkantay tour, and it was a great experience. Our guide Ever was very professional and friendly, definitely knowing what he is talking about (in very good English) and a true Inka fan, and we enjoyed to be in his group. The kitchen was also very good and there was a vegetarian and even vegan option. The horsemen also did a great job. So the team was absolutely great, and I would recommend it. It is a tough tour though, and you should be aware that it\’s not easy climbing above 4000 meters, so start training ;).
