No knees

It's hard to find words to describe the Inca Trail experience. The hiking was a challenge, but the team made the experience as comfortable as possible in in-between. The guides were knowledgeable about the area and the history of the Inca archeological sights, the terrain was genuinely awe inspiring, and the food was terrific. Machu Picchu itself was incredible. The scale of the ruins, the state of repair and the insight from our guides really helped give us a sense of the Inca people and their empire. In 4 months of traveling Asia and South America, this has been a standout highlight. A must do.
