Don't listen to anyone who tells you that this is easy, it isn't. It's challenging but anyone can do it I think provided you can tolerate a bit of pain and discomfort.
The rewards are worth it, it's an amazing experience with beautiful scenery, nature and of course history. The guides and porters were really friendly, helpful and approachable and along with the group made the trip as good as I can imagine it could be. Gain outweighs the pain tenfold. 10/10 wouldn't do this again unless you paid me.
As an aside, the food is surprisingly good and better than some restaurants I've been to. There's plenty of it 3 times a day. Top banana.
