Excellent experience overall! This was my first multiday hike and would not have made it without the staff.

Our guide Franklin was very knowledgeable and helpful, the cook Ronney made some first class meals (especially considering the limited resources to work with, and I cannot say enough about the porters that literally carried the team on their backs! The ITR office was pretty responsive leading up to the trip.

One drawback was that there was a lack of porters at the beginning, and we had to go to another town to find available porters, cutting into our first day.

Since we reserved the porters well ahead of time, this should have been better organized by the ITR office.
