It is impossible to prepare for this trail. It's tough, but unforgettable in the most positive way.
The food was amazing (gracias senior Modesto), Manny the guide was crazy fun and the "family" actually turned in to a really tight and loving group of new friends. As for the difficulty level, don't ask elite athletes as I did before I went.
Ask me. It's really tough and will leave you sore for sure, but that's what makes the trail such an unique and great experience. If you're thinking of doing it, stop hesitating and just do it, you won't regret it.
