The Salkantay trek experience was filled with amazing landscapes and beautiful people. Though strenuous, it is something I would definitely do again and recommend to friends and family. The scariest part of the trip was riding the horses on the second day. I feared for my life but the scenery was absolutely stunning. Our tour guide, Rony was knowledgeable, helpful and professional. The food was delicious and having help carrying our luggage made a huge difference during our hike. I highly recommend this trek for everyone. I met wonderful people. Zip lines were great, too. I love Peru a lot.
