One of the 7 Wonders of the World – check

I planned a year long trip around South America and doing the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu was at the top of my bucket list. I just finished the trek a few hours ago and although my legs are aching, it was worth it ! The scenery was beautiful; the ruins incredible; the company so much fun; and the porters and guide incredible. As I am backpacking and am on a budget I didn’t go with one of the more expensive companies, but I was so impressed with the quality of the food and equipment. It is definitely one of the more memorable experiences I’ve had during my trip.
