I decided to do the Inca Trail about two years ago. I was originally planning on doing it solo but a friend to join me and it was the greatest decision. The trek itself is difficult and having a friend to share it with and exchange encouragement made it much more enjoyable. The porters work extremely hard and the guides are very attentive and helpful. I cannot than Juan Carlos, Juan and Sergio enough. They made the difficult parts easier and encouraged us along the way. The food was delicious and the scenery breathtaking. When I thought there was not enough left to go, I would stop, look around and get a fresh burst of energy! Would I do it again? You bet!
