With encouragement from Marco we were able to make it through the two toughest days to see and appreciate the amazing landscapes along the Salkantay trail over the five days. Seeing such amazing views was surreal and hard to fathom how varied the climates can be along one trail.
Our team was amazing. As mentioned, Marco was very encouraging but also extremely informative. I really enjoyed learning about the Andian culture that Marco took the time to explain. Felix was an amazing chef that i cannot compliment enough. I looked forward to every meal along the trail. Damien was an excellent horseman and am very grateful for his help along the trail.
Overall, I would highly recommend the trail to my friends and family. Although being tough, it was well worth the effort to see such amazing landscapes and meet such interesting people along the way.
