Pachamama

The Inca Trail route to Machu Picchu had been on the bucket list for some time, and as I sit here now enjoying a well earnt beer, it was every bit as inspirational as I hoped it would be.

Marco and Andreas our guides shared knowledge along the way to enrich the journey and encouraged us up mountain passes and to one amazing Inca place to another. The Chaskis were incredible and there is no way you could ever do it without them.

How they carried our tents, foods, etc. and prepared the food we so needed to complete the trek, I'll never know. Overall, a once in a lifetime trip that will live long in the memory.
