This trip will definitely remain in my memory for the rest of my life. The first day was a challenging trek up to a glacial lake and then on to the glacier itself.
Acclimatization was the most challenging part of this day but with the guides expert advice on how to chew coca leaves and their help with every step, everyone comfortably finished the hike. Despite the freezing cold night next to the glacier, we were treated to hot chocolate, coffee and tea, followed by an amazing meal cooked at 4300m; Michelin star awarded.
The journey only got better from here, aided by Paul and Jimmy's (guides) education and drinking prowess.
