This trip was excellent. All the daily and different tours were very well organized, the tours guides had a lot of information about the places and its history and answer all our questions. We loved all the hotels where we stayed, the personnel working in each hotel did their best to offer an excellent service. In 17 days we went to so many places: Lima, Arequipa, Puno, Lake Titicaca, Chivay, Cusco, Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, etc. The food was great and we really enjoyed the personalities of other people in the group. Even though everybody was from different countries, we all shared and adapted to each other. The tour guide Carlos did a great job to make the strenuous path to Machu Picchu very fun.
The experience of staying with a Quechua family in Amantani Island and the Uros Islands was an unique experience. I can say the same of all the temples that we visited: Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu, etc.
The buffets places as part of the group, offered a wide selection of typical dishes of Peru and they were great. Their food is very flavorful and with so many dishes. I was very impressed with the Peruvian people, not only the local tour guides, but all the employees in the stores, hotels, museums, etc., that we visited. They all did a good job in offering the best. Even though my boyfriend did not speak English, everybody in and outside the tour did the best to always try to communicate with him.
We really believe that the combination of tours that Inca Trail Reservations organized, were very well combined and planned. The coordination in different cities between picking us at the airport, bus stations, and hotels were punctual. I will definitely expect to come back soon.
