Pilgrimage

I have been dreaming of coming to Machu Picchu for the last 10 years and I am so glad we decided to do the Inca Trail instead of the Salkantay trek. Being on the Inca Trail made our pilgrimage to Machu Picchu city more special and allowed us to really connect with the culture of the Incas.

Our guide Paul was really friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about any questions we had. He was also very passionate about his job and entertained us constantly with his humor . Thanks to all the porters who I have developed an extremely high respect for.
