Puma person #1

The hike was just as fun, exciting, informative, and important as seeing Machu Picchu itself.

Our tour guide was thorough and passionate and he did a great job explaining the history and culture of the inca/tawa inti sulu people along the way. The food was wonderful as were the accomodations and porter service. It was a bit disappointing that our plans changed and we had to reorganize our hiking due to landslides, but the service was very flexible and made our stay in Aguas calientes nice.

It was also nice to see Machu Picchu twice, in the morning vs afternoon and also with a guide vs exploring by ourselves.
