Rain and Ruins

Our Machu Picchu adventure was a great experience. We all enjoyed the explanations and stories told by our guide. Literally the only downside with our trek was the intermittent rain on days 2 and 3, and the very rainy day when we got into Machu Picchu. In spite of this we still had an incredible adventure, visiting numerous archaeological sites, meeting a fair number of alpaca and llamas. A very big portion of making this trip as enjoyable as it was goes to the porters and chef as they worked tirelessly to ensure that everything was prepared well in advance of us arriving to our lunch and camping sites.
