It was a great adventure. There was some pretty rugged terrain and gorgeous vistas all along the way. You have to be willing to walk but that\’s why I chose this trek in the first place. I\’m going to Machu Picchu tomorrow and I suspect it might be the equal to what I\’ve seen so far. It was really super de duper I must say. To be a hiker on the trek is very good. I would do the lake on day 1 again in a heart beat. Recommend this to all my friends, unless you have recently had a heart attack or major surgery within the last 30 days. See your doctor if so.
