Got started with a good briefing the day before the real thing. The guide specially came to our hotel, because we arrived to lately train.
Day 1 was a training day, relaxed walking and for some get used to the altitude. And there was the option to visit a lake, a real hike but worth the trip. Sleep in a tent and the guide woke us up with a coca tea.
Day 2 is the hardest day, and can be to long for some of us. Again sleep in a tent.
Day 3 is also quite a walk specially with day 2 still in the legs, again a tent night.
Day 4 the possibility to walk early or to go zip lining and a small walk. Zip lining is great. At night sleep in a hotel at Aguas Calientes, shower time.
Day 5 visit Machu Picchu! The food and service during the whole trip was fantastic! A great hike, but it is a lot of walking.
Thanks to the organization and two big thumbs up for the guides, the cook and the horseman!
