one in cusco we went to the office for the information meeting which was extremely helpful, we were completely reassured that the trek would be great and that we would be prepared.
On the trek itself we were in a group of 5, 6 including our guide called David, who was as much of a friend as everyone in the group. the trek was fairly demanding but with David's encouraging we made it. the scenery was some of the most beautiful I have ever seen and we appreciated it all move with David's thorough understanding and explanation of everything that we saw.
the trip was also enhanced by the quality of the horse men and cooks, who were amazing. the food was some of the most delicious I have eaten in Perú, with authentic elements such a lima bean drink. there was always plenty of food and us vegetarians we were very well catered for, with plenty of vegetables and energy foods.
we were very well looked after and the the professionalism of the company greatly enhanced our experience.
