The food was muy delicioso and I can't begin to appreciate all of the work done by the horseman, cooks and everyone else involved. Raul was the absolute best. I've been all over the world and never experienced a guide as good as him.
His knowledge of the flora and fauna was always unwavering and sparked conversation. He made our group into a family, and we made lifelong memories. From pretending we were in the Lord of the Rings, to finding the southern cross, to spotting a capybara, thus was truly a once in a lifetime trip thanks to Raul and the Salkantay trek.
